Learning conversation C13

We finished reading part 13. Now we have new questions. Some ask us to find special words called abstract nouns. These are words for ideas or feelings that you can’t touch, like happiness or sadness. Other questions ask us to describe the feeling or mood of the place in the story, like if it feels spooky or happy. We also need to think about how the characters are feeling. In the middle of the story, there is a picture. This picture shows what it was like back then. We used a computer program called AI to help make this picture, so it looks better and more real.

Building Hope

After reading the diary of Anne Frank and TBITSP we  what  talk about we talked about what people most of felt like having their whole world turn upside down.

I can’t imagine what it  felt like for the people that suffered in the all for the torturing  and humiliation Some Jewish people were hurt and made to feel scared a long time ago. Yesterday, we talked about how to help them feel happy and safe again.

yesterday we decided how we could put their cloth of dreams back together again

this activity was inspired bythe book ‘Teaspoon of Light’ we made pictures based on what we were thinking. We worked together while doing it. There were no rules, just showing how we feel and how we think those feelings look.

BITSP chapter 11

We read a book called “The Boy In The Striped Pajamas.” We finished chapter 11 and made a special project called a DLO. Then, we had questions about the chapter. Some questions ask about abstract nouns, which are like ideas or feelings, and the mood or feeling of the story. Two other questions ask about parts of the story. In the middle of the DLO, there is a picture that shows what the time and place felt like. We used a computer program called AI to help make this picture so the project looks more interesting.

BITSP Chapter 10

LS2 is reading a book “The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.” Your group made a presentation about what happened in chapter 10. The presentation had four questions related to that chapter and a picture made by an AI to show the main events.

BITSP Chapter 8

LS2  read  Another chapter of “The Boy in the Striped Pajamas” and focused on chapter 8 today. You created a digital presentation (DLO) about that chapter, including four questions related to the story. You also provided answers to those questions, making sure the responses were connected to the events or details from the chapter.

BITSP Chapter 2

Last week free read a book “The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.”my group made a DLO  about it, showing what happened in the story. They also created a visual display to show the differences and viewpoints in that chapter, explaining how contrast and perspective are important in understanding it.

Mood, Atmosphere and Characterisation

Today, we talked about stories and the people in them. We learned about how stories can make us feel happy or scared (that’s Mood). We learned about the special feeling in the place or time of the story (that’s Atmosphere). We learned about two types of characters: Round characters, who have lots of different traits, and Flat characters, who are only good at one or two things. We also learned who the main character is (Protagonist) and who is the bad character fighting against them (Antagonist). We made a simple chart to help other people understand these ideas easily. We worked with friends, each sharing one idea, and then put all the ideas together in a picture or chart. The goal was to make a quick and easy way to understand how stories work.

BITSP

LS2 read a book called The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. After finishing the first chapter, the class was asked to make a project called a DLO, which is a type of learning activity or presentation. They needed to answer questions about what happened in that chapter and choose the best answers. The student liked making the project and is looking forward to reading more of the book.

BITSP

In that story, there is a boy named Shmuel who is very hungry. He is stuck because he has to wash dishes in Bruno’s house, even though he is starving. Bruno is a boy who finds out Shmuel is hungry. Bruno tries to help Shmuel by giving him a small piece of food. But then, an angry soldier named Lieutenant Kotler comes into the kitchen mad. Bruno gets scared and does not help Shmuel anymore while the soldier punishes him.
